The name my parents gave me when I entered this world is Brian Cromer. I am saved by Jesus. I am loved by God unconditionally and that is amazing if you take a few minutes to think about it. I am a Tennessean living in Oklahoma right now. I am a student pastor at the NORTHchurch in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. My family consists of my way-out-of-my-league wife, Heather, and our two dogs, Gaby (Basset Hound) and Stella (English Bulldog). I am a huge sports nut who loves the New York Yankees, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Tennessee Titans, and the University of Tennessee. Thanks for checking out this blog. hmmmm….did you happen to go to Monroe, LA on a mission trip in 2005? And did you cook hamburgers with some crazy guy using a PVC pipe and a spatula?
Steven – Yep, I was in Monroe, LA in 2005 through Group Workcamps. And yes, that was me watching the crazy guy use a spatula attached to PVC pipe to cook hamburgers. Good memory. How did you find this site? Thanks for checking it out.

The last I had heard about you was that you had gone on a honeymoon to maybe somewhere in the Carribean??? and that you were going to be a youth minister.

Brian just want to thank you so much for writing back in 2008 about the difference between happiness and joy. It helped influence a post I wrote recently (to be posted today). Though miles, cultures and other things make us different, the evident love you have for God is something that unites us and I’m glad you use that so well on this blog.
