I recently saw a commercial that caught my attention and made me think. No, it was not during last night’s Super Bowl. Today is the day where a lot of people talk about the best and worst commercials from the Super Bowl, but it has nothing to do with Dorritos samurai warriors, talking babies, or Betty White getting tackled. This commercial was for an energy company called Devon Energy.

This got me thinking…What if integrity was celebrity?
What makes a celebrity today? Sometimes it is bring able to sing, play an instrument, or act. Sometimes it is being able to throw a ball, hit a ball, or run fast. Sometimes it is being born into a certain family. Sometimes it is simply being attractive. Sometimes it is doing something incredibly stupid on YouTube.
But what if integrity was celebrity? What if we celebrated and adored those who do the right thing regardless of the circumstance? Those who are the same person alone as they are around others? Those talk the talk AND walk the walk?
Who would our celebrities be?
Can you think of anybody specific who would be a celebrity if integrity were celebrity?
