One of my most crucial guidelines about my blog is that I never want to take myself too seriously. I know I am a dork, so I embrace that and in the process, you experience a good laugh at my expense. That being said…
In the last three weeks, I have written about my new workout – P90X. In fact, earlier this week I wrote about the top 5 things I have learned about P90X in the first two weeks. The number one thing that I learned was…
Brian Cromer and yoga do not go together. For starters, the P90X yoga workout is an hour and a half (brutal). You stretch, twist, lean, bend, and balance in ways that I did not think was humanly possible. It is not relaxing. You sweat. You work. On top of all that, I am probably one of the most inflexible people on the planet. If someone could set up a hidden camera in my living room that is pointed directly at me during the yoga workout, that video would be a youtube sensation within hours. Ninjas would struggle with this workout. So would Chuck Norris.
For your enjoyment and laughter, I decided to let Heather take pictures of me during this morning’s P90X yoga workout to help give you an idea how hilarious and ridiculous I look doing this workout. So without further adieu, I give you…

Oh Man! This is incredible. I love you. I really think this is in my top 2 favorite blog posts of all time, coming in a close 2nd to the one about Christians starting trends in culture.
OK Guys,
The only thing I can imagine that would be funnier than Brian doing these poses would be me doing them.
Brian, Thanks so much for today’s laugh, I so needed it.
Love you guys,
Linda
My favorite pose is #5. You look like a very tall Geisha . Flexibility doesn’t run in our family. Sorry about that.

Good work done, thanks for your contribution for the amazing physical and mental discipline “YOGA”. For diabetic patients – do some diabetes yoga http://healthy-ojas.com/diabetes/diabetes-yoga.html
Great Post! I have a really hard time with the Yoga X workout. The poses are really hard to do and hold. Good Luck with the X!
Good job Brian. You and yoga can go together. If it were easy the first time or first few times you did it, it would not be a work out, would it?
You are a fairly fit guy to begin with, so with a few tweaks, you’ll see rapid improvement. I began P90X Feb 09, I think I can give you some pointers. Hope you don’t mind.
#10 Try to make you fist touch the floor. I can see you are trying to accomplish that but I thought I’d say it anyway
#7 Straighten those elbows and try to get the right knee to point to the wall right of you
#6 (Warrior two) Try to get the front leg parallel to the floor and don’t lean forward, keep neutral.
#5 and #4 Get legs parallel to floor
#1a and b Look up at the shoulder. This I still have a hard time doing. Good luck.
