The Yankees played their final game in historic Yankee Stadium last night. They won the game 7-3. I recorded the game on my TIVO and it will probably be on there for a long time.

We DVR’d the Sports Center show before the game, then the game, then the Sports Center show after the game, so we wouldn’t miss any of the pregame/postgame moments. We also watched a lot of the specials on ESPN during the day. It was all so AWESOME!!! I have to admit that I shed a few tears. Dad got on their 2009 schedule, and you know what, the Yankees play the Braves a few days after your birthday!!! Then the Braves play the Red Sox right after that. If we can, we may try to get tickets as soon as they go on sale. Unless you guys come back to Impact–we’ll have to wait and see.
We recorded the pregame/postgame shows and the entire game. Wow, it was an incredible night!!! I’m so glad they won their last game in Yankee Stadium.
I have to admit that I shed a few tears. Did you know that the Yankees play the Braves in Atlanta next June? If you guys don’t come to Impact, we may try to get tickets as soon as they go on sale. That is my DREAM game!!! That would be so much fun.
