Major League Baseball teams often get politicians to throw the ceremonial first pitch at games. In this YouTube video, Mark Mallory, the mayor of Cincinnati, gets the distinct honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a 2007 Cincinnati Reds baseball game. It is officially the worst first pitch in history. This is hilarious. The look of bewilderment on Eric Davis‘ (former Reds star outfielder) face is priceless.
This guy’s “man-card” should officially be taken away. I could not have the leader of my city throw like that. I am not even going to say he throws like a girl because that would insult all girls. Say what you want about George W. Bush, but he can throw a mean ceremonial first pitch.
*A big thanks to Eric “the Manyo” Sztanyo for first showing me this.
I am definitely in the category of uncoordinated, non-athelete, but this guy makes me look like Melky Cabrera! I feel so bad for this guy that this was caught on video b/c embarrassment is immortalized.
But it is really funny.
It doesn’t end there. He went on Jimmy Kimmel to try and redeem himself and made it much, much worse. A sad day for Cincinnati.
Manyo – that Kimmel clip is hilarious. I would never re-elect that guy simply because of his horrible throws. Tells me he can’t handle pressure.
